introducing egg’s latest addition – the mini crumpet!
the need for a miniature version of the standard crumpet came to julie one evening a year or so back (it takes that long to make this sort of thing happen)… the realisation that such a thing didn’t exist ignited great excitement and initiated some extensive planning and research.
the process, far from simple, required julie to source an industrial designer to bring this mini (4cm in diameter) delight to life! together, along with egg’s head chef dave, the unique custom made mould was created, paired with a well thought out recipe.
whether you’re after the savoury or sweet version, egg’s little crumpet can be gently warmed & makes for a multi-purpose base for any canape.
